CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The City of Corpus Christ announced that 4 officers have returned to duty after a possible suspect they transported tested negative for COVID-19.

Nueces County Public Health District confirmed it today.

On Friday, the four Corpus Christi police officers were Isolated after they were involved in a call which resulted in an arrest of a suspect who later showed signs consistent with COVID-19.

According to officials, those four police officers have returned to duty after the suspect/patient in question tested negative for COVID-19.
