The Corpus Christi international airport is also getting ready for the holiday travel rush.
The airport is getting ready to open overflow parking in the long-term lot because of the expected high volume of air travelers this week.
Long term parking is expected to be full by tomorrow.
Once that happens, the airport will open the overflow parking site in a field on the northeast side of the lot.
Covered parking is also expected to fill up by Thursday.
