Boundary changes that will affect Galvan Elementary School students are being discussed.
All of the changes being announced are scheduled to go into effect this August for the 2019-2020 school year.
Beginning in August, Galvan Elementary students headed to middle school will be zoned for Tom Browne Middle School.
Incoming 6th, 7th and 8th graders in the Galvan Elementary zone will be allowed to choose between Browne Middle School and Cunningham Middle School at South Park.
Regardless of the middle school campus they choose, all students in the Galvan zone will be zoned for the new Mary Carroll High School.
Looking ahead, beginning in the 2020-2021 school year, all Galvan Elementary School students moving on to middle school would attend Browne Middle School, unless they are granted a transfer.
However, the district is discussing transfers for siblings of Galvan Elementary School students.
