A Corpus Christi police officer approached when he saw a man in a hoodie and mask who had just spray-painted words on a concrete wall barrier along the 2700 block of South Padre Island Drive.
The graffiti is visible directly in front of Western Boots El Paisano.
Police said the suspect was taken to a hospital for an evaluation, leaving with officers in a police car. He will receive a graffiti citation, police said.
