The Corpus Christi Independent School District will conduct its annual Spelling Bee at 8 a.m. Saturday at Veterans Memorial High School Auditorium, 3750 Cimarron Blvd.
There will be 46 competitors representing 35 elementary schools and 11 middle schools in the district. The winner will advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in National Harbor, Md., on May 27-30.
