Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has been one of President Donald Trump’s most vociferous critics among lawmakers in Washington.

At Tuesday’s State of the Union, Pelosi’s applause came in fits and dribbles during the president’s address.  At one point during Trump’s speech, Pelosi literally clapped back in the president’s face after Trump made a call for comity and unity.

“We must reject the politics of revenge, resistance, and retribution, and embrace the boundless potential of cooperation, compromise, and the common good,” Trump said.

Pelosi wasn’t buying it. She reacted with a standing ovation standing behind Trump, but what happened later was what sparked the social media firestorm.

She took to her feet, reacting with an exaggerated golf clap that appeared to be disingenuous.

Her action quickly resonated on social media.

So what do you think of Pelosi’s act. And what do you think Trump thought about it?
