As shoppers fill the stores at La Palmera Mall this weekend, there are other businesses inside the mall like the kiosks also expecting to see a flood of shoppers.
Staff at a few of the kiosks we spoke say they’ve seen sales increase over the past few weeks and are already gearing up, making sure they have enough inventory and staff to work those long hours.
“My mom actually worked here yesterday and she went home and she’s basically been working ever since to re-stock again today,” said Mallory Roper, owner of Leaf Cutter Candle Company. “So yeah, there’s a lot of stuff going on for us.”
A lot of these businesses will be running specials this weekend. And La Palmera Mall will feature extended hours.
