A 21-year-old woman died this morning after police say she jumped from the Harbor Bridge after a traffic accident.
Police responded to an accident between a car and a motorcycle just before 5 a.m. Police went to check on the motorcycle driver and when they went to check on the driver of the car, she had disappeared, according to police.
Sadly, police say she jumped from the bridge. Her body was found a short time later in the water near an observation deck.
Traffic on the Harbor Bridge northbound was shut down temporarily while police investigated.
