Earlier this year, China implemented its new anti-pollution program.
One of the main changes is that China is no longer accepting loads of waste paper, metals and certain types of plastic from around the world.
Despite China’s new program, officials with the solid waste department say they are still able to move their recyclable materials through a private processing company.
Since these new policy changes, the value of recyclable material has diminished greatly.
