The man arrested last night for threatening customers at a local fast food restaurant has been identified.

Corpus Christi Police say 36-year-old Patrick Christopher Durkin walked into a McDonalds on Saratoga near Weber, wielding a knife and yelling at customers.

Police say he also ate some food without paying.

Durkin was arrested after officers convinced him to lay the weapon down. He is charged with robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Police said that Durkin had also tried to force his way into a nearby home earlier in the evening and had successfully broken into another home and stole a television.
