It was a busy Saturday morning for Stripe’s convenience workers as they saw people lining up outside their stores, wanting to buy Selena cups.
According to a store manager, the lines of people started forming outside his store at Yorktown and Staples around 6:00 am Saturday morning.
Mando Zavala, a Stripe’s manager, said,"We starting getting people lining up around six in the morning, and as you can see we went through seven boxes of Selena Cups."
Zavala says each box came with fifty Selena cups and they were starting to sell out around 10:15 a.m.
One customer, who was waiting in line, says she bought the cups to send to family members in Arizona.
