CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A local restaurant is offering consumers a chance to stack up on many much-needed household staples without braving the lines found at many local grocery stores.
Grub Burger Bar is offering what it is calling a “Grub Quarantine Kit” that will offer four beef patties, four brined chicken breasts, eight buns, four sides of macaroni and cheese, 12 brownies, 12 peanut butter cookies, a dozen eggs, a gallon of iced tea, a roll of paper towels and two rolls of toilet paper for $65.
The company, located at 4902 S. Staples, will upgrade the order to waygu beef patties for $85.
