CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is offering prospective undergraduate students and their families a chance to test the waters at the school during its official campus preview event.
More than 12,000 students call TAMU-CC their home-away-from-home, and Island Day will give those who attend a chance to discover everything the university has to offer for anyone whose goals include higher education.
Future Islanders are invited to spend this Saturday learning about admissions, financial aid and on-campus housing. There will also be a chance to meet current students and learn about various campus organizations, as well as sit in at a classroom with a professor to find out why TAMU-CC's academic programs are a particular source of pride.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. in the University Center. The program begins at 9 a.m. and runs through the afternoon.
To register ahead of time, check out their website.
