Small dog set on fire

BEE COUNTY, TEXAS — Bee County Sheriff's Office is looking for whoever is responsible for setting a small dog on fire.

Deputies from the Bee County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to a call of animal cruelty on Sullivan Street in Skidmore.

An owner said that their dog “Buddy” had been killed. Investigators said the crime occurred between Thursday, July 18th and Sunday, July 21, 2019.

Investigators determined the dog appeared to have been set on fire.

The dog's carcass was found under the owners' home.

In a Facebook post, investigators stated they're attempting to gather more information regarding this horrific crime.
