CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The holiday spirit has taken over the South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center (8545 S. Staples Street) and will be on display this year for two exciting weekends!
Holly-Days at the Gardens will be celebrated Saturday and Sunday (Dec. 7/8 and 14/15), with activities from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In addition to a lighted 21-foot Fraser Fir with thousands of colored lights, there will be photo sessions with Santa by a second large tree in the Rose Pavilion. Various animals are on hand, and there is storytelling. crafts for kids, and holiday music playing throughout the Gardens.

- Photos with Santa (10 a.m.-Noon, 3-4 p.m.)
- Rep-Tales (10:30-11 a.m.)
- Pictures with Santa’s Tortoises (11 a.m.-Noon, 4-4:30 p.m.)
- Holiday Story-Telling (Noon, 2:30 p.m.)
- Parrott Talk (1:30-2:15 p.m.)
- Monkey Mansion, Kids Play area (9 a.m.-6 p.m.)
