CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Part of Everhart Road is set for a major makeover, meaning detours and delays.
Today, the city council is expected to award a multi-million dollar contract for road work on Everhart from SPID to Holly.
The result? A complete reconstruction of that stretch of Everhart, along with underground utility improvements.
It’s one of the busiest areas in town and one well-known for its pothole issues and bad traffic.
Today, we’ll hope to speak to nearby residents and business owners about how this will affect them.

Work on the Everhart project is expected to be done by March 2021.
