Pet of the Week: Michael

If you have ever seen a puppy wear himself out and then quickly fall asleep right where he was, then you have seen Michael!

Ever the curious canine, Michael spent all of his energy playing with everyone in the KRIS 6 studio when he came in for his Pet of the Week segment. And when it came time for his television debut, it showed. Michael promptly fell asleep.

This Lab mix — somewhere between 3 and 4 months old — is currently being cared for by Corpus Christi Animal Care Services. He has already been neutered and is current on all of his shots. Anyone who wants to adopt him should keep in mind that because he is young, he will need to return for booster shots at some point, both for his safety and that of his new family.

Interested in adopting an animal from CCACS? Just go by 2626 Holly Road any afternoon from 1:00 to 5:30 PM (including weekends). You may also call (361) 826-4630.

Although it is not required, you are allowed to bring other pets with you on your visit to make sure they will be compatible with whichever animal you may want to take home.

Be sure to visit the CCACS Facebook page: www.facebook.com/corpuschristianimalcareservices.

You can also go to www.PetHarbor.com where you will find pictures and information on all of the animals who are brought to CCACS. If you use Instagram and Snapchat, simply search for Corpus Christi Animal Care.
