The great Gatsby is our Corpus Christi Animal Care Services Pet of the Week, and what a dog he is!

Gatsby is about a year old and was found in a field by Animal Control officers. He was not wearing tags and did not have a microchip. No one has called looking for him since his arrival at the CCACS facility and so now, he needs a new home.

This one-year-old appears to be a Dachshund mix, with anyone’s best guess as to what the “mix” may be. Whatever it is, it has contributed to Gatsby’s unique look — one that he owns when meeting new people in a new environment. There is nothing shy about this boy!

Gatsby is up-to-date on his shots and has already been nuetered. He was also given a microchip, meaning he is ready to go home immediately with the lucky family who chooses to adopt him.
