ALICE, Texas — Local Vietnam veterans were honored today for their service to the nation.
Congressman Filemon Vela held two pinning ceremonies today as part of the Vietnam War Commemorative Program. Today they recognized 34 Vietnam veterans and their families.
Senator Juan "Chuy" Hinojosa was also in attendance at this event in Alice, Texas.
