CORPUS CHRISTI — Veterans who need help managing their healthcare will want to attend a training session Saturday presented by the Nueces County Veterans Service Office and the Veterans Administration.

This class will help veterans and their spouses enroll in and understand how to use the My HealtheVet platform and access Ebenefits accounts.

By using this web-based system, veterans will be able to contact their medical staff team, as well as re-order prescriptions, view upcoming appointments and carry out a number of other tasks - all online. My HealtheVet is the portal for a veterans VA health care information, and can be used wherever there is a computer with internet access.

Veterans who would like to create a My HealtheVet account can register online by visiting www.myhealth.va.gov.

Trainers will be available for those who come by the Del Mar College Center for Economic Development (3209 S. Staples Street) anytime between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. A VA representative will also be available.
