CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi International Airport literally went to the dogs today.

Go Therapy Dogs started its 100th class this weekend. These future therapy dogs will go through about 20 hours of training this weekend.

These dogs and their handlers visit schools, nursing homes or victims of a major events all over the United States.

“They have been having a blast specially when they come the airport,” said Nancy Trepagnier, founder of Go Therapy Crisis and Airport Dogs.”This is our fifth year out here. And starting this year we get twice a year so in five years. Come out and see dogs come out. See dogs and they think they can pet them. Then, they all get excited.”

There are close to 700 Go Team Therapy dogs across the United States.
