CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Santa and Mrs. Claus paid an early visit to Gloria Hicks Elementary School this morning, and they did it in grand style.
Instead of a sleigh and reindeer, they pulled up to the school in a pretty snazzy candy apple red convertible.
Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with a troop of elves, were the guests of honor at the school's Christmas party.
And once inside, they got the full rock star welcome.
The fun was just beginning.
There were arts and crafts, snacks for everyone and each student got an early Christmas gift from Santa.
