CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A local brewery is holding a birthday party for "Merdude."
The party is this Saturday, September 14 at Lorelei Brewing Company. It goes from 5 pm to 10 pm at 520 Nas Dr, Corpus Christi, Texas 78418.
Their event page says, "Our Majestic Merdude is turning 50 and as "The Dude Abides" we want to throw a party and all of You Mermazingly Majestic Merfolk are INVITED!!!!"
There will be a Mermaid and Merdude costume contest. Beards are highly encouraged.
"For those fabulous Mermaids that may find themselves Beardless we are absolutely encouraging you to get creative and Build A Beard anyway you seem fit," their event page says. "The more creative the better."
Party-goers will also enjoy a food truck, live music, and a selfie station with a merdude.
