Pet of the Week: Meeko

Posted at 10:08 AM, Feb 27, 2019

Some exciting news coming out of the Corpus Christi Animal Care Services this week! But first, an introduction:

Meeko is a Labrador Retriever mix who – believe it or not – is only 11 months old. He has been with CCACS for about a month. This pretty boy is playful and energetic and would likely be a fantastic addition to any family looking to grow!

An added bonus is that Meeko has already been neutered and microchipped. He is also up-to-date on all of his shots, meaning that he is ready to go home today with whomever chooses to adopt him.

A couple of notes, now, from CCACS:

The volunteer appreciation lunch originally scheduled for March 2 has been canceled and will be rescheduled for a date to be announced later.

Also (and here is the exciting part), CCACS will now be open every day of the week! That means that your family can drop by 2626 Holly Road to visit with the animals there any afternoon – including Sunday – from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. You can also give CCACS a call at (361) 826-4630.

Be sure to visit the CCACS Facebook page:

You can also go to where you will find pictures and information on all of the animals who are brought to CCACS.
