Got a horse? If so, then consider joining the Cavalry Trail Riders Association and JAR Ranch on Saturday for their 7th Annual Toy Drive Trail Ride.
Those who participate will be helping Brush Country CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) make Christmas better for children in foster care in Kleberg County. In lieu of the regular trail riding fee, guests are asked to donate an unwrapped toy ($10 value) per person.
Registration takes place from 9-11 a.m. at the El Rancho Roping Bar & Arena on County Road 304, Lot #176 in Orange Grove. The round robin trail ride will be leaving at Noon and will parade through town. The route is 14 miles long, and a party wagon will be available for non-riders.
