Pet of the Week: Saffron

Looking to add a pet to your family? Think about adopting one of the animals being cared for by Corpus Christi Animal Care Services — maybe even our Pet of the Week!

Saffron is a female Weimaraner and Plott Hound who is about a year old, and has been with CCACS for about two weeks. In terms of size, she is probably as big as she is ever going to be.

Because she comes across as being very shy and a bit timid at first, Saffron often goes unnocticed by those who come to the Holly Road facility looking for a pet. Once someone takes an interest in her, however, Saffron comes alive and never looks back!

If you are interested in adopting Saffron, go by 2626 Holly Road Monday through Saturday from 1:00 to 5:30 PM, or call (361) 826-4630. You are encouraged to bring your family or any current pets you have, in order to spend time with whichever animal you may be thinking of taking home.

PLEASE NOTE: CCACS will be closed on Thursday, August 30th for training and maintenance, and again on Monday, September 3rd for the Labor Day holiday.

Be sure to visit the CCACS Facebook page:
