CORPUS CHRISTI — The great Texas round up is almost here and the city of Corpus Christi is giving those warrants a chance to clear their record.

Dockets at the city municipal court are changing to take care of any unfinished business, with no questions asked.

The courts are offering a second chance for people with outstanding fines or tickets to pay them off without getting arrested.

Judge Gail Loeb of the city of Corpus Christi Municipal Court says, "There's lots of options. And people sometimes get nervous and they don't know what they can do, so we are trying to let them know ahead of time that there are options and they shouldn't be afraid to come in to court."

The 12-day amnesty period begins tomorrow and runs through Friday, Feb 28.

After that officers will start making arrests for neglected warrants.
