CORPUS CHRISTI, Tx — Corpus Christi police are looking into a shooting that frightened a neighborhood after several gunshots rang out.
The shooting happened near Marguerite and 19th Street just after 9:30 p.m Saturday. Police said a CCPD officer was flagged down at Spohn Memorial for a car crash and reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene Marguerite and 19th Street, they found multiple shell casings. Two men, both in their 30's, were arrested. A gun was recovered at the scene, but it was not the same used in the shooting. Investigators at the scene said no one was injured during the shooting.
Police closed down certain areas of the neighborhood as crime scene technicians were called out to take pictures of the evidence.
Investigators at the scene said some who lived in the area of the shooting were not being very cooperative.
