Auditions for 'A Christmas Story, The Musical' begin Sunday

Aurora Arts Theatre is proud to announce auditions for its winter production, 'A Christmas Story, The Musical' directed by Debra Aguilar and choreographed by Bryan Meza. If you are interested in auditioning (which we triple dog dare ya), auditions will be held on September 22 & 23 at 6 p.m.

AUDITION DATES: September 22 & 23 @ 6 p.m.

LOCATION: Aurora Arts Theatre, 5635 Everhart Rd. Suite B

This musical, which received rave reviews on its Broadway run, is based on the movie classic that runs round-the-clock on television every Christmas.

Set in the 1940s in the fictional town of Hohman, Indiana, the musical follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker and his quest for the Holy Grail of Christmas gift

Audition Information:
Singing Audition - All auditionees will learn a song from the show and have ranges tested.

Dance Audition – All auditionees will learn a short combination so the directors can see range of movement (dress comfortably).

Acting Audition – All auditionees will read from script excerpts.
