There will be no excuses for driving drunk this Spring Break.
Apollo Towing Service will once again be offering free tows for those who have too much to drink.
The service will begin tomorrow and go through March 15, offering free rides home to people that live in Corpus Christi, Portland and Robstown.
It will be available to people 24 hours a day, and dedicated to the memory of Corpus Christi Police Department Alan McCollum, who was allegedly killed by a drunk driver in January, and in honor of Ofc. Michael Love, who was severly injured in the same accident.
Contact (361) 853-0003 to arrange a pickup. Only the vehicle's driver will be allowed to ride with the tow-truck driver.
The vehicle towed must be operational, the driver must have the keys for the vehicle being towed, and the service is no-questions-asked.
