CCISD has postponed its strength and conditioning sessions for the rest of the summer.
A news release from CCISD Athletics Director Brenda Marshall states they were scheduled to resume Monday.
The district had begun to hold sessions observing social distancing and using masks until the recent COVID-19 spike put the sessions on pause.
It is unclear how the development affects fall sports, but two-a-day football practices currently are scheduled to begin in early August.
The move also affects activities such as marching band, NJROTC and drill teams.
