CORPUS CHRISTI – It was a pretty nice start to our weekend here in Coastal Bend. We saw a mixture of sun and clouds with an afternoon high of 80 degrees. It was a bit breezy with our peak wind gust blowing out of the southeast at 34 miles per hour. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies with an overnight low of 64 degrees. We are looking for some great weather conditions on Sunday with a bit more sunshine and a daytime high of 80 degrees again.
We are looking for pretty seasonable temperatures for much of the workweek ahead. A weak cold front will push through on Monday night. There is a slight chance for a few showers with the frontal passage. This will also push a lot of the clouds and moisture out of here midweek. This will bring us mostly sunny skies with afternoon high temperatures in the mid 70’s. Showers could be returning to the forecast for next Friday and Saturday.
