Hit & Miss Showers

and last updated

CORPUS CHRISTI- We remain in a hot tropical weather pattern here in South Texas. That means we can expect more scattered showers to develop across the region again today. However, the storms will be rather hit and miss. The storms that do pop up could produce some brief heavy rainfall. A Coastal Flood Advisory will continue through lunchtime. This means we will continue to see high tides and surf along with a high risk of rip currents.

The forecast for today calls for partly sunny skies with showers and thunderstorms likely. We will see a daytime high around 92 degrees. The winds will be out of the southeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Tonight we can expect mostly cloudy skies with a few showers possible with an overnight low around 77 degrees. Similar weather conditions can be expected through early next week. Daytime highs will be in the lower 90’s with overnight lows in the mid 70’s.
