We are going to be stuck in a definite August pattern as higher pressure builds over the region. Afternoon highs will rise a few degrees and the clouds will be at a minimum. So, it’s hot and humid through Sunday. And likely into next week.
Of interest in the tropics: an easterly wave has formed east of the Windward Islands. It is expected to slowly develop into a tropical storm, however, it’s going to run into serious opposition when in gets into the Caribbean.
At this time the system is headed to the Yucatan and will be monitored very closely, right here.
