ROBSTOWN, Texas — Firefighters continue to investigate what caused a massive brush fire just north of Robstown yesterday afternoon.
Eight fire departments from around the area responded to the fire at a palm tree farm near County Roads 69 and 44 around 3 p.m.
The fire was difficult to access, so brush trucks were brought in from visiting fire crews.
About 100 acres were scorched by the time crews were able to put out the fire.
No injuries have been reported.
