Corpus Christi residents are experiencing multiple electricity outages throughout the city.
According to AEP Texas, the most hard-hit areas appear to be midtown with about 11,000 outages and 2,000 outages on the Southside.
Officials from AEP Texas say the outages are likely due to heavy winds in the area and that crews have been finding fallen tree limbs and other wind-related issues affecting the powerlines.
Due to the volume of the outages, the exact timeline for power to be restored is difficult to calculate, but crews are currently responding to reports as soon as they can.
