If you are a Verizon customer and having difficulty getting outside service, apparently you are not alone.
The Verizon Support Twitter account shows that rampant outage is being experience in many cities across the country, including Corpus Christi. It appears that most of the disruptions have been concentrated in the eastern part of the United States.
There is no clear reason for what cause the outage or when service will be restored.
But it still didn’t keep users from venting on Twitter on Tuesday morning.

#VerizonOutage Not only can I not call anyone that has a different carrier but I also lost all of my contacts!!! I literally only had 9 saved numbers this morning! Anyone else? Also, Verizon support did acknowledge the outage when I called at about noon.

Verizon has acknowledged on social media they are aware of the problem and working to fix it.
