A Corpus Christi Police spokesperson says the department is close to wrapping up its investigation of an alleged road rage incident.
It happened Sept. 7, when a pickup rammed a sports utility vehicle several times while driving on TX State Highway 361 between Port Aransas and Corpus Christi, as well as on the JFK Causeway.
Videos of the incident went viral on social media after they were posted on Facebook.
Detectives still need to interview the pickup driver, but expect to give the case to the district attorney’s office to present to a grand jury soon.
Police are seeking aggravated assault charges against the driver, who already was cited for not having insurance.
