CORPUS CHRISTI — The Coast Guard assisted in the rescue of a man who fell overboard from a boat in Copano Bay, Saturday night.
Sector/Air Station Corpus Christi watchstanders received a call from a Rockport Police Officer who was on the beach and heard screams coming from the water at approximately 10:30 p.m.
An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter boat crew were launched and Texas Parks and Wildlife was contacted for support.
Once on scene, the aircrew of the MH-65 spotted the man in the water and relayed information to a Texas Parks and Wildlife boat crew who were able to recover the man from the water.
The man did not request any medical assistance.
