‘Tis the season for all things pumpkin spice! If you haven’t already treated yourself to some pumpkin flavors yet this season (or even if you have and want more), Krispy Kreme just added four new treats to their menu that will make all your fall dreams come true.
The new pumpkin spice doughnut collection includes three returning doughnuts and one that’s new for this fall season. All four doughnuts are in stores now through Sept. 30.
Returning are pumpkin spice original glazed, a classic original glazed doughnut with a pumpkin spice twist, and the pumpkin spice cake doughnut, which is a spiced old-fashioned cake doughnut also covered in Krispy Kreme’s signature glaze. The pumpkin spice original filled cheesecake doughnut, an original glazed doughnut with creamy cheesecake filling and cheesecake icing, is also back.
Brand-new this year is the pumpkin spice cinnamon roll doughnut, which is a pumpkin spice doughnut that is tossed in a pumpkin spice sugar blend, then topped with cream-cheese icing and cinnamon schmear.
Dunkin’ also launched its fall menu recently, and it includes new and classic pumpkin-flavored coffees, spiced drinks, bite-size bakery treats and more.
Dunkin’s pumpkin-flavored coffee will be returning, plus two new items: chai latte and pumpkin spice latte, which you can get hot or iced. Topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle and cinnamon sugar, the pumpkin spice latte combines espresso with pumpkin and vanilla flavors.
When it comes to food, you’ll find apple cider and pumpkin doughnuts and a maple sugar bacon breakfast sandwich.
Of course, Starbucks’ pumpkin spice latte is also back (for its 17th year!), and they have brought back the pumpkin cream cold brew, which was new last year. Starbucks also has a pumpkin cream-cheese muffin, pumpkin scone and pumpkin bread.
This year, there’s even a beer inspired by the Dunkin’ PSL — for those that prefer an adult beverage to drink alongside fall doughnuts.
From Massachusetts-based Harpoon Brewery, the brand calls the Dunkin’ Pumpkin a “spiced latte ale.” It is made with real pumpkin, pumpkin pie spices and coffee. It will be available on draft and in bottled six-packs beginning in September.
