DALLAS (AP) – Court records show a Houston man accused of killing his two children told authorities his 8-year-old son pleaded for mercy before having his throat cut.
Jean Pierre Ndossoka is charged with two counts of capital murder in deaths of his children, Marcel Ndossoka and 1-year-old Anna-Belle Faith Ndossoka. Authorities say their mother found the two dead at a Houston apartment complex on Saturday after receiving a call from Ndossoka, who said he’d killed the children and left her a “present.”
Court documents obtained Tuesday say Ndossoka reported his son’s last words were, “Daddy, I’m sorry.” The father said the toddler just kept crying.
On Sunday, Ndossoka was found in his vehicle with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A note at the apartment indicated Ndossoka had planned to die with his children.
