The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a Heat
Advisory, which is in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to 9 PM CDT
this evening.

* TEMPERATURE...Low to mid-90s with heat index values 110-115
degrees.

* IMPACTS...Very hot temperatures will increase the risk of heat
related illnesses, especially amongst the elderly, young
children and persons with heart conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Heat Advisory means that heat indices of 110 degrees or higher
are expected over most of the area for at least two hours.
