CORPUS CHRISTI - A State Trooper making a U-turn after a traffic stop along Highway 361 on Mustang Island was hit by an SUV driven by a 23-year-old woman from Corpus Christi this afternoon.

The trooper was taken to the hospital for a possible concussion after hitting his head on a rifle
