CORPUS CHRISTI -- Plenty of festive events kicked off the holiday season in Corpus Christi today.

Children on the city's westside got to be a part of a special festival.

5,000 children received invitations to the 29th Annual Navidad de Los Ninos sponsored by the West Side Business
