CORPUS CHRISTI - A driver hit a kid riding a bike just before noon today. The accident happened in the 900 block of South Port Avenue. Witnesses say the boy was trying to cross the street when a car hit him. Emergency crews took him to the hospital to be checked out but he's expected to be OK.
