CORPUS CHRISTI -- With Thanksgiving Day now less than a week away, a group of volunteers gathered items to make special holiday baskets for the needy.

They call themselves the Basket Brigade.

Sean Daniel Olivares started the group last year to help make Thanksgiving special for ten
