CORPUS CHRISTI - Construction on the new Sam's Club at Everhart and S. Padre Island Drive will force the closure of one northbound lane of Everhart Road for a period of two weeks, starting next Monday.
The closures will only take place during the day. Keep that in mind as you head towards the area and plan for extra travel time through the area.

ROBSTOWN - A portion of Highway 77 just south of Robstown is closed as authorities deal with a fatal crash near FM 2826.
Halo Flight was called out pick up a patient from the scene where a Chevy Tahoe slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler at approximately 70 miles per hour.

CORPUS CHRISTI - A major crash on eastbound South Padre Island Drive shut down traffic for at least half an hour Friday afternoon. It sounds like someone's tire came off and caused the crash.One of the vehicles involved overturned in the crash.
Just a short time after that crash, there was another collision on the westbound side of the highway at the exact same spot.
There's no word on injuries.

KINGSVILLE - The Texas Department of Transportation has approved extending a lowered 65 mph speed limit on southbound Highway 77 to the southern city limits of Kingsville
The 75 mph speed limit will remain in effect until the new lower speed limit signs are in place, possible as early as next week.
The higher speed limit will remain in place for Highway 77 south of the city limits.

GREGORY - Highway 35 southbound near Gregory is blocked off by an overturned Southeastern transport 18-wheeler. The driver was taken to hospital to be checked out.
We're told the trailer was empty at the time of the crash. It will take some time for equipment to get to the scene and clear everything up.

CORPUS CHRISTI - The signs say 'No Left Turn.' And they can be seen up and down South Staples where all the street construction's going on, between Williams and Holly.
But while our cameras were there Monday afternoon, several drivers seemed to ignore the signs and turned left anyway (More)
