Students across the country are feeling the joy of graduating from high school this weekend, and one Texas boy's accomplishment sent him dancing across the stage.
Students at Midland Independent School District turned their tassels this weekend and one of their classmates, who received a diploma, is especially joyous about the occasion.
Lee high school graduate, Carlos Neira was born with down syndrome.
The 19-year-old half-walked, half danced across the stage to receive his diploma.
He's the youngest of eight children, and his mother says whenever times get tough for Carlos he gets his encouragement from God.
Carlos will be attending life college this summer and says afterward, he wants to get a job where he can interact with people.
