CORPUS CHRISTI -

The Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office has released the identity of a young man who died after crashing into two other vehicles Sunday night.

Investigators say 22-year-old Furkan Beser was killed after his car crashed into a car and a truck in the 6200 block of South Staples near Esplanade Drive around 7:30 p.m. Sunday night.

Police say a Furkan's vehicle was traveling southbound on Staples and entered the Northbound lanes.

The Furkan was transported to Spohn Shoreline after being extricated from the vehicle by first responders. He later died.

Investigators also added he was from Turkey and was an exchange student at Texas A & M Corpus Christi.

The other drivers involved are expected to be okay.
