An airplane crash this morning at the Laredo International Airport has left two people dead.
According to a spokesperson the the Laredo Police Department, a private, twin-engine plane crashed on airport property around 10:30 a.m.
The officer said the identities of the dead are not being released until next-of-kin have been notified.
Authorities say there are no indication at this time what caused the crash.
The airport is currently shut down and officials from the National Transportation Safety Board are on their way to the scene.
